Do you have a business idea or want to improve your existing business? Then this New Zealand business programme is designed to provide you with the practical tools and inspirational ideas to help you set up your business or manage your current business more effectively.
Study Options
Contact Mode - Available nationally and involves attending one class per week and a workshop every three weeks, plus study in your own time for a set number of hours.
Your learning will include:
How to complete a comprehensive business plan for your business or business idea focussing on:
- Small Business Management - The business planning process and the New Zealand business environment.
- Business Law - Legal terms and concepts and preparing a legal plan.
- Marketing - Principles and concepts which can be applied to real-life situations.
- People Management - Employment and staff development as well as operations and personnel requirements.
- Small Business Accounting - Business mathematics and accounting concepts including Cashbooks, GST returns etc.
- The Financial Plan - Taxation, budgeting, sources of finance and financial policies and procedures.
Further Study
Diploma in Small Business Enterprise (Level 5).

To be enrolled in this programme, you must:
